๐๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ โ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ โ Sensitive information obtained by Somdaily from official sources confirms that the personal assistant to General Shub has been arrested in Dolow district, Gedo region, on suspicion of providing the coordinates that guided the missile strike that hit the commanderโs house on the night of September 3rd.
The man, whose name security sources gave to us as ๐๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฆ๐๐๐ฒ, was one of the closest members to the commander. Sources said that days before the attack, he was in Mogadishu.
Information we received indicates that Macalimeey was not in the house at the time the bombardment occurred, but he later went to the hospital to see the commander who was being treated for shrapnel injuries.
Security sources who spoke to Somdaily said that Ethiopian forces are currently holding the man, and an investigation is underway into his phones and other data.
The investigation was further intensified after the suspect ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ค๐ ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฆ๐จ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ ๐ฉ๐ก๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ฐ๐ก๐๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ญ๐๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฌ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก ๐ข๐ญ, which has reinforced the suspicion against him.
The investigation, which is now nearing its conclusion, is believed to have found that the assistant had recently been secretly working with Chairman Abdikadir (Jamac) and his group, and was tasked with carrying out the operation.
It is also believed that he was part of other conspiracies that took place in Baidoa during the fighting, with suspicions that he finished off the Deputy Commander who died in the Baidoa battle, known as ๐๐๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ง.
Sources added that Commander Shub himself had noticed unusual behavior from his assistant in the days leading up to the attack, which is now strengthening the investigatorsโ suspicions.
So far, there has been no statement from Speaker of the Lower House of the Somali Parliament, Abdikadir or the South West administration regarding these allegations.
